1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, name, password (stored as a secure hash) and sign-in details.
- Content: the stories, scripts, prompts, images, videos and audio you upload, and the results you generate.
- Usage and billing data: credits used and granted, generation history, invitations and, when paid plans launch, purchase records.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, logs, and bot-protection signals.
- Communications: messages you send to us.
2. How we use your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded content to train our own models.
- To provide the Service: create your account, generate and store your projects, and show your history.
- To bill and track credits, including refunds of credits for failed generations.
- To keep the Service secure: prevent abuse, fraud, duplicate accounts and policy violations.
- To support you and send service messages, such as account and security notices.
- To improve the Service, using aggregated usage information.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
We process personal data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service, to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required (for example, optional marketing emails).
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run AlphaDrama, under agreements that limit how they use it:
- Cloud hosting and storage providers that store the website, your projects and generated files.
- AI model providers that process your prompts, scripts, images, video and audio to generate results. Some of these providers are located in China and the United States.
- Bot-protection and security services, such as Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Email delivery providers for verification codes and service messages.
- Payment providers, once paid plans launch. They process payment details; we do not store full card numbers.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. International transfers
AlphaDrama is operated from Vietnam, and our providers may process data in other countries, including Singapore, the United States and China. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, for these transfers.
6. How long we keep data
We keep account data and projects while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as billing records) and backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis. Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage that are needed for the Service to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and site version, and protecting forms from bots. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for consent where required.
9. Children
AlphaDrama is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and notify you of material changes.
